The cost is reasonable and the peace of mind is priceless.

Better yet, why not schedule a personal visit? Call Louise for more details.

Training and Qualifications for Whole Woman Practitioners

Certified Whole Woman Practitioners have undergone a rigorous selection and training process. Women are selected for their educational background, passion for the work and life skills. The training involves about 500 hours of work, reading, writing, lectures and discussions.

Students are also required to spend a week with Christine Kent at the Whole Woman Center in Albuquerque NM for a practicum and final assessment to demonstrate their learning and qualifications for certification.

The purpose of all of this is to be sure that Whole Woman Practitioners are thoroughly prepared to help their clients who are committed to avoiding surgery and need and want the guidance of a qualified Practitioner.

I live in York Western Australia. While my three adult children were young I trained and worked for many years as a Volunteer Breastfeeding Counsellor with Nursing Mothers Association of Australia, now Australian Breastfeeding Association. My experiences during this time cemented my belief in the perfection of the female body, designed exquisitely for the intended functions of reproduction and nursing babies.

Several years after the birth of my third baby I was diagnosed with the beginnings of pelvic organ prolapse , being prescribed a pessary to alleviate menstrual pain and discomfort because my cervix had moved lower than it had been prior to having babies . The pessary was of some use for a limited period of time.

In 2003 chronic, stress-induced constipation and asthma were major factors in the appearance of both rectocele and cystocele. While researching prior to a gynaecologist appointment to discuss surgical repairs, I stumbled upon the Whole Woman website and Christine Kent’s work. I subsequently declined the offer of hysterectomy and extensive pelvic repairs and embraced Whole Woman techniques enthusiastically.

I am now post-menopause. Over a decade after beginning Whole Woman methods my prolapse symptoms are now only minor and transitory. I no longer consider the possibility of surgical repair at all.

I have spent a lot of time posting and reading the Whole Woman Community Forums. You can read my Prolapse Story in full there. I believe that women are quite capable of understanding how their own body works, and of making their own sound decisions on how to manage their own health with input from their health professionals.

I practise in Australia. I can help you into a personal plan to reduce your prolapse symptoms and improve your overall health and wellbeing. Consultations can be arranged in person and by Skype or other video technology if meeting in person is impractical. I also carry a range of Whole Woman products for sale at competitive prices.

I am looking forward to assisting you.
